Chemicals - Metals

Ameropa has developed other select lines of trade. In petrochemicals, we export methanol from Romania and Russia, where we participate in a 900,000mt methanol plant; we trade in caprolactam and butyl rubber; and we market polyester fibers and yarns.

In metals, we source ferro alloys in China and distribute a variety of cobalt metal grades with inventory in Baltimore, Rotterdam and Shanghai. This activity is supported by supplies from our own cobalt mining operations in the DRC.
