OUR APPROACH
Our approach to project implementation is one of collaboration and partnership. We oversee the structure and strategy of these projects, while actively involving local, long standing partners for the operational management and implementation to ensure a deep understanding of the communities and their specific needs. In the past we have been more heavily involved in the development and operational project management, but as part of this new phase of the Foundation, we are shifting from the project development model to prioritize Project Partnerships and Strategic Collaboration.
We believe that this approach reflects a commitment to working hand in hand with organizations and communities, while moving away from direct project management responsibilities. By becoming collaboration partners, the Foundation aims to empower local stakeholders and foster long-term self-sustainability.
LEGACY PROJECTS
Mission: ”To continue support for long-term projects
and relationships working towards a self-sustaining
future."
In this pillar we intend to continue the support of community development projects and relationships in Brazil and Uganda. These communities continue to adapt and evolve which provides more opportunity for new initiatives and change. The projects are managed at the local level with funding and strategic support from the Foundation.
SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
Mission: “Through strategic, community-based partnerships we aim to create more equitable and sustainable agricultural solutions in low- and middle-income communities.”
In this newly developed pillar, we intend to use the industry knowledge, resources, and networks from the broader Ameropa family, to engage with projects and initiatives that create opportunities for vulnerable communities to learn and work in sustainable agriculture.
ROMANIA
Mission: ”To give back and support vulnerable communities in Romania through community engagement and educational programs."
In this pillar we are focusing on the geographic region where we have the largest footprint of Ameropa community, by investing in education with a long-term perspective, specifically in the sciences. We aim to build a sustainable legacy of progress, resilience, and inclusive prosperity for the communities we serve, in line with the broader global commitment to ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education.
