RUBIK ASSOCIATION - EDUGARDEN PROJECT
EduGarden is an innovative educational initiative based in the rural region of Țara Făgărașului, designed to foster a deep connection between children, their learning processes, and the natural world around them. The project was created in response to the growing need for experiential learning opportunities that support not only academic growth but also emotional intelligence, creativity, and practical life skills.
At the heart of EduGarden is the belief that education should be hands-on, relevant, and rooted in real-world experiences. To bring this vision to life, a permaculture garden was built as a dedicated outdoor classroom, a dynamic space where students can explore, experiment, and engage in meaningful learning.
Children who participate in the program are guided to develop critical skills such as self-directed learning, collaboration, ecological awareness, and problem-solving. In parallel, local educators benefit from targeted training sessions, equipping them with tools and methods to facilitate active learning both inside and outside the classroom.
EduGarden was chosen for its forward-thinking educational model that integrates environmental responsibility with personal growth, creating a vibrant learning ecosystem where both children and teachers can thrive.
